Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi- Tour of Lobby, Guest Room, and Pool
I visited there with my family Thursday-Sunday and stayed at the Grand Hotel Casino and while I spent most of my time with my kids I got plenty of time in at various best indian casinos diego tables.
This was my second visit since Katrina tore the town up but it was my first visit of more than one night so I had more time to check out other casinos on this trip.
The hotel ,casino, and staff are all nice.
Thursday evening I went downstairs to play.
Before I placed a bet I saw an opening at the other table and moved over to the regular table.
They also offer the fire bet which is a dumb but sometimes fun bet.
It was stretched out long and skinny so every area felt small and cramped like individual rooms.
The décor was dated and unoriginal.
They have a truss wood beam ceiling which I guess is supposed to be lodge-like but to me it just made the space feel even smaller.
I only saw one craps table.
I think I had a amber bock and spent most of my time trying to finish my cigar at the end of the table without blowing too much smoke next to my neighbors.
I think at that point it was about 11pm.
The table was pretty full and while nothing big happened we had some steady inside points hit.
As it was my first night I was pretty conservative but within an hour I was back up.
Friday morning I headed back down for an hour while the rest of the family was resting before we headed out for the day.
I had an hard rock biloxi craps juice and watched my money go away slowly for an hour.
We headed out for lunch and had a great time at the Gulf Coast Waterpark in Gulf Port and had a shrimp and crab dinner at a nice restaurant.
I had plans to meet another fellow redditor at the Beau Rivage later but I wanted to check out the Hard Rock first.
Instead he said the hotel limo could take me which was a nice surprise.
After pulling up in style at the Hard Rock I headed straight to the tables.
There were 4 tables all pretty full.
The come out was a yo then the shooter hit a 5.
Bam shooter hits the point.
Shooter goes on to hit 5, 6, 8.
I really like the atmosphere and the crew there.
FWIW the drink waitress did stop by again with a full list of drinks which I thought was over and above.
It was time to head over to the Beau.
I walked to the Beau Rivage next door and enjoyed watching people all dressed up walking back and forth between the HR and BR.
The Beau Rivage is really the only Vegas style casino in Biloxi.
It is very large.
Has a huge lobby with restaurants and shopping and has that big open feel you expect from large casinos.
I got a players card but got no promotions as I was already an MGM member.
IIRC they had 6 or 8 craps tables.
It was 8 oclock and I was supposed to meet my friends at 930 or so.
I played pass+odds 6 and 8 and come bets.
I had several times where I kept my odds working and lost those too but over all was staying steady.
I had scooted over to the end and let a guy in his 60s or 70s squeeze in next to me.
I congratulated him as hard rock biloxi craps came and went for several shooters.
The first shooter going the other way got the dice and proceeded to throw for ~35 minutes.
He was hitting all the numbers, points, hardways, etc.
I even threw out a few horn bets for my wife.
We chatted drank and smoked for 45 minutes or so.
Saturday was a rainy day which ruined most of our plans which revolved around boat rides and beach visits but we still had fun at some local museums and had a nice BBQ lunch.
We came hard rock biloxi craps to the hotel in the late afternoon for naps and such.
I decided to head over to the IP for an hour or best poker names as I had never visited and had heard its post-Katrina make-over made it a worthy destination.
The lobby was nice and new looking.
Not as grand hard rock biloxi craps Beau Rivage but clean and glitzy.
The craps tables looked older.
The weather had improved and the pool was open so we all hung out there for a while prior to dinner.
We decided to eat at Margaritaville for dinner and maybe play there a bit.
The place is brand new sorry, land sloth have Caribbean décor obviously.
The restaurant spans one side of the building with a nice balcony with tables overlooking the back bay.
Down below at the dock there is a large outdoor bar with hundreds of Adirondack chairs and sandy areas and palm trees.
It looked quite nice but with the kids in tow for dinner and nothing really for them to do we ended up eating and leaving.
The food was actually quite nice and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
We headed back to get the kids settled and I went hard rock biloxi craps for a final evening at the Grand.
I had a lot of fun and got my fill of craps for at least a few weeks I think.
